Ofcom's terms of reference for TV production sector review
Ofcom's terms of reference (PDF, 22 pages; also HTML summary) for a review of the UK television production sector. Ofcom will assess the appropriateness of current regulatory interventions, including quotas and codes of practice that affect the relationship between PSBs and the independent production sector. Ofcom will consider what it calls economic arguments (such as competition concerns) and public policy arguments (such as the international success of UK production) for potential changes to existing regulation.
