Office of Fair Trading annual plan for 2007/2008
OFT plan (25 pages, PDF) for the financial year 2007/2008. The emphasis is on prioritising actions with "high impact", and on measuring these impacts so as to meet a target of "direct financial benefits of at least five times [OFT's] cost to the taxpayer". OFT's expenditure is about £55 million a year (but it is not clear whether other income e.g. merger clearance application fees are netted off the figure to be quintupled). The most obvious change from the consultation draft is in the layout, especially the front page.
