Consultation on heavy rail inter-operability regulations

Department for Transport consultation (PDF, 192 pages including 167 pages of annexes) on proposed regulations to implement EC directives on railway inter-operability. The proposed regulations cover both high-speed and conventional (heavy) rail, and would extend to Northern Ireland. The main annexes to the document are the draft regulations (50 pages), a draft regulatory impact assessment (32 pages), and a draft "guidance" document (55 pages). Responses by Friday 11 November 2005.
