Ofwat proposals to fine Thames Water
Ofwat notice (87 pages, PDF) proposing to fine Thames Water £11.1 million for inaccurate regulatory reporting. This relates to the information about "DG indicators" (which capture aspects of customer service performance) in Tables 2, 3, 3a, 4, and 5 of the 2005 June return. Ofwat also proposed (77 pages, PDF) to fine Thames Water a further £1.4 million for the customer service failures themselves, and for failures to make some GSS compensation payments to customers.
