Some movement in Northern Ireland Water Reform

Announcement that the establishment of a Government-owned company to take over the functions of the Water Service of Northern Ireland has been postponed to April 2007. The Government is seeking to recruit a chairman and non-executive directors to a shadow board to "contribute significantly to the change essential to the successful establishment of the [Government company]". Jim McKeown (presumably the former head of the energy division at DETI) is responsible for the recruitment process. Applications or nominations for the chairman position by Monday 28 November 2005.
