Proposed hedge against locational loss factors (P200)

BSC modification proposal P200 (6 pages, PDF) by Teesside Power (and Graham Shuttleworth of NERA) to change the Balancing and Settlement Code by adding locational transmission loss factors as in P198, but with the new loss factors being applied only to (i) consumption BM Units and (ii) in the case of production BM Units, to the difference (positive or negative) between actual generation and a historical volume which would be set for a transitional period of 15 years. The proposed transitional hedge appears to be mandatory for all generators (whereas the otherwise similar P109 would have been voluntary). ELEXON has a dedicated page.
