Tagging method for calculation of cash out prices (P217)

RWE Npower proposal (4 pages, PDF) proposing another set of "tagging" rules to calculate cash-out prices under the Balancing and Settlement Code. The proposal would replace the current formula-based ex post tagging with real-time tagging of actions by grid control staff, using a new "Tagging Methodology Statement" (to be developed). For actions tagged as "system", National Grid would follow a new "Replacement Price Methodology Statement" (to be developed) to create data for use in calculating settlement prices. This might be a reaction to the Panel's disapproval of P211. ELEXON has a dedicated page.
