DG Competition decision against music collecting societies

Public version (78 pages, PDF) of the European Commission's July 2008 decision finding that arrangements between copyright collecting societies in the EU regarding the licensing of music public performance rights for satellite, cable and internet transmissions to commercial users infringe Article 81.

Applications by some societies for suspension of the decision pending an appeal have been turned down: see for example this CFI judgment in French.
