Provision of EAC and AA data to Distributors (P222)

Electricity Network Company proposal (4 pages, PDF) to amend the GB Balancing and Settlement Code to require data collectors to provide meter reading data to distribution network operators. The additional data would be used for distribution system planning purposes, and be more geographically disaggregated and more timely than the data flows currently available or considered for distribution use of system charging. They could also allow a form of maximum demand charging for independent distribution networks without the cost of installing boundary metering. The proposal refers to a forthcoming report on issue 31. ELEXON has a dedicated page.
