Proposed emergency payments to Metronet

PPP Arbiter consultation (34 pages, PDF) on an interim direction increasing Metronet Rail's charges to London Underground by £121 million for the year ending June 2008. The additional money would be paid between January and July 2008. A monitoring trustee will be appointed to reduce the risk of losing the money through a Metronet default.

Very short consultation period: Responses by noon on Monday 23 July 2007.

Update: A court hearing “In the matter of Metronet Rail BCV Ltd and in the matter of Metronet Rail SSL Ltd” has been scheduled for 8 am on Wednesday 18 July 2007.
