London Underground PPP Arbiter proposed new procedures
PPP Arbiter consultation (36 pages, PDF) on proposed changes to its approach to future periodic and extraordinary price reviews, and other references, in the light of experience from its past work. This comes at a time of increased speculation about a possible extraordinary review of Metronet's remuneration on its PPP contracts.
The proposed changes relate to the timetable for the Metronet annual report, the possible introduction of Ofwat-style reporters (consulting engineers reporting on costs etc.), and new IT systems and document formats. Responses by Wednesday 7 March 2007.
