Virgin Media appeal against report on ITV shareholding

Competition Appeal Tribunal summary (2 pages, PDF) of the grounds for an appeal by Virgin Media, Inc. against the Competition Commission report on Sky's shareholding in ITV plc and the ministerial decision ordering divestment.

Virgin claims that a finding of adverse effect should have been made in relation to media plurality, in addition to the finding of substantial lessening of competition; and that additional remedies might then have been needed.
