Distribution charges for customers in EDF and WPD areas

Ofgem notice (4 pages, PDF) of the amounts to be added to electricity distribution charge limits under its discretionary reward scheme. Customers in EDF and Western Power Distribution areas are to pay a total £600,000 for improvements in data held by these companies about priority customers, and for advertising of free services to these customers and support to them during interruptions. Customers in Western Power Distribution areas will pay a further £200,000 for the breath and depth of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, its good governance procedures and its holistic approach.
