Attheraces v BHB [2005] EWHC 1553 (Ch)

High Court ruling (about 24 pages) in the case between Attheraces and The British Horseracing Board (BHB) regarding payments for pre-race data. Attheraces alleges that BHB had abused a dominant position in seeking excessive remuneration, unjustifiably ceasing supply, and other abuses. BHB's application to strike out or summarily dismiss Attheraces' claim was dismissed by the judge, and Attheraces was permitted to pursue its abuse case and promised a "speedy trial" (scheduled to start on Monday 17 October 2005).

Update, December 2005: Judgment in favour of Attheraces.

Update, 2 February 2007: judgment reversed on appeal.
