Costs of compensation for temporary physical disconnection
Ofgem letter (PDF, 9 pages) on arrangements for NGC to recover the costs of a compensation scheme for generators subject to transmission network outages, introduced a year ago as a CUSC modification, but made potentially more significant as a result of the extension of the scheme to Scotland as a result of BETTA. Ofgem suggests an interim pass-through to BSUoS for Scottish outages and inclusion in the SO incentive scheme for outages in England and Wales. Responses by Monday 9 May 2005.
