New enforcement regime for BBC fair trading commitment

BBC Governors conclusions (13 pages, PDF) on changes to be made from February 2006 to the complaints process under the BBC's fair trading commitment. The new regime would involve a separation between complaints to the BBC's Head of Fair Trading, handled by the BBC's management, and appeals against the response to complaints from the BBC's management, which would be handled by the Governance Unit and in which the BBC's management would be treated as a party to the dispute.
