OFT consultation on First/ChesterBus merger
OFT notice that FirstGroup's acquisition of ChesterBus is being considered under the Enterprise Act 2002's merger control provisions.
The sale of ChesterBus by Chester City Council had triggered a claim against Arriva for alleged anti-competitive conduct, which was rejected by the High Court a few days before the sale to First was announced.
