Rejection of Ofgem's distribution structure of charges plans

Distribution network operator responses (eight PDF files) to Ofgem's proposal for a collective licence modification imposing its choices of method for calculating electricity distribution use of system charges.

Two groups, SSE and SP Energy Networks, accounting for four main regional networks, have objected to the proposal. This probably amounts to a blocking minority (the threshold is 20 per cent), therefore Ofgem cannot modify licences as it had planned. Ofgem can refer the matter for a Competition Commission inquiry.
