Electricity safety and continuity: amendment to regulations

DTI consultation (PDF, 14 pages) on a proposal (PDF, 2 pages) to amend The Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity Regulations 2002 to reflect changes in British Standards relating to cable colours, to strengthen vegetation control obligations, and to amend the scope of application of the regulations by removing tramway and trolleybus systems and making clear that offshore wind farms are included. DTI also released a partial regulatory impact assessment (PDF, 38 pages) and a guidance document (PDF, 10 pages).
