Rejection of tolerance bands in electricity settlement
Ofgem decision (7 pages, PDF) to reject BSC modification proposals P201 and P202, in line with the Panel's recommendation. These proposals would have introduced less penal imbalance settlement arrangements within a tolerance band, with a view to reducing imbalance settlement costs for suppliers who cannot accurately forecast their customers' deemed take.
