Proposed changes to transmission charging structure

Ofgem consultation letter (12 pages, PDF) describing a proposal from National Grid for a change to the method used to determine transmission use of system charges in Great Britain. The proposed regime would recover 100 per cent of transmission use of system revenues from demand (instead of the current 27/73 generation/demand allocation) and allow negative demand use of system charges.
