Clearance of Lancashire United / Blackburn Borough Transport
OFT decision (12 pages, PDF) not to refer the acquisition of the former municipal bus operator Blackburn Borough Transport by Lancashire United (Transdev) to the Competition Commission. Some possible monopolies are created by the transaction but the OFT took the view that competitive constraints from the possibility of new entry were effective in each case.
