Possible changes to UK analogue radio regulation
Ofcom consultation (48 pages, PDF) on the future regulation of AM and FM radio in the UK. The paper suggests that increased competition from digital media may mean that the current regulatory requirements make analogue radio stations financially unsustainable; and that it may not be wise to commit spectrum in the AM and FM bands to analogue radio for a long period.
