GB: Measuring indirect tax losses (2007)
HM Revenue and Customs report (56 pages, PDF) on indirect tax losses in the UK up to the financial year 2006/2007. The report provides a description of the gap analysis methods used to estimate VAT and excise losses. Results for 2006/2007 show a drop in both the VAT gap and attempted MTIC fraud.
