Modifications to Ofwat's access pricing guidance
Ofwat letter covering revised versions of Appendix 2 (25 pages, PDF) and Appendix 3 (13 pages, PDF) of its guidance to incumbent companies on access codes, which provide details of Ofwat's suggested approach to access pricing. The changes appear relatively minor.
The CAT judgment in the Shotton case, expected in the next few months, might lead to further modifications if the Tribunal comments on the construction of the access pricing provisions of the Water Act 2003 that are the basis of Ofwat's guidance.
