Consultation on Scotland-England interconnector upgrade

Ofgem letter (15 pages, PDF) inviting views on a proposal by SP Transmission Limited for funding of an upgrade to the Scotland-England interconnector under the transmission investment for renewable generation arrangements. SP Transmission's proposal is appended to the letter (pages 4-15). Responses by Friday 18 November 2005.

(Ofgem's letter calls the requesting company "Scottish Power Transmission Limited", a name unknown by Companies House. It was not so long ago that Ofgem was insisting that affiliated network and energy companies should not share names or corporate identities.)
