ENW proposals for changes to IDNO charges

Electricity North West proposals (32 pages, PDF) to amend its methods for calculating use of system charges for independent licensed distribution networks connected to its network. As with WPD and ScottishPower EnergyNetworks, the proposal is to develop charges on essentially a retail-minus basis, using mainly domestic consumption profiles. These would replace current charges based on industrial consumption profiles. Ofgem has 28 days to announce a consultation or a decision.

Update, 11 June 2008: ENW has withdrawn this proposal: see Ofgem's updated table of modifications (PDF).
