Ofcom research into FAPL football on TV

Ofcom report (152 pages, PDF), published on the DG Competition website, containing research and analysis undertaken as part of the European Commission's investigation of the Football Association Premier League's selling of live TV rights. The report seeks to understand: how markets are affected by the way Premier League content is made available; how markets are likely to be affected by changes in the way that Premier League content is made available; and Premier League fans' preferences. The Commission had stated in a press release from November 2005 that it proposed to accept commitments from the Premier League to conclude its Article 81 investigation.
