Franchise payment profile for new South Western franchise
Department for Transport page providing anticipated payment profiles for the First Capital Connect (Thameslink/Great Northern), First Great Western, Southeastern (Integrated Kent) and South West Trains (South Western) passenger rail franchises. Only the data for South West Trains are new. The page shows the contracted amounts, which need to be adjusted for RPI (and for risk sharing arrangements), and continues the past practice of quoting figures for a somewhat mysterious concept of "present value of nominal payments", possibly related to the mysterious "NPV" concepts used for ONE railway and GNER.
