Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. He holds an MSc (distinction) and BSc (first class) in Economics from the University of Bristol. Nic has excellent capabilities in regulatory strategy and regulatory policy development. He has advised clients on pretty much all aspects of the design and implementation of price control regulation, as well as on charging methodologies and UK/EU competition law on abuse of dominance. Shankar has advised regulators and companies on price control reviews, regulatory appeals, regulatory and incentive frameworks, charging and other commercial arrangements, industry reform and development of competition, and identifying value opportunities in innovative commercial models. His broader experience includes economic impact assessments, data modelling, cost allocation and tariff calculations.
